The Mediterranean. The Baltic and the Mediterranean Sea. A cultural bridge between Northern and Southern Europe. Cattolica 25th-30th May 2011

The school will be itinerant and will move between Cattolica, Gabicce, Gradara, San Giovanni in Marignano, Saludecio and Pesaro. Lessons will be given by professors and experts coming from various Italian and foreign universities and cultural centres, giving a variety of information on the many relationships between some of the Mediterranean regions and in particular those looking onto the Mediterranean and the countries of Northern Europe. We envisage guided visits to themed exhibitions, archaeological sites, exhibitions and other artistic locations, useful to the enrichment of the didactic offer "a cultural link between North and South Europe". Cultural links between the "Mediterranean" connecting the Mediterranean to the Baltic Sea, internal seas of the Atlantic Ocean onto which Norway, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and Finland look.
